Alliance Cloud Connect Pilot

About the pilot

We understand that researchers in Canada require more efficient access to compute, software and data through community and commercial clouds. Through the Alliance Cloud Connect Pilot (ACCP), we aim to build national cloud research capacity and deliver on our mandate to meet the increasing digital research infrastructure (DRI) resource demand from the Canadian research community. Below is a listing of the commercial vendors, open-source developers, universities and researchers who are working together on a cutting-edge portal that will transform access to community and commercial cloud services in Canada. Thank you to everyone who is participating in the pilot!

ACCP participants

Cloud service providers

Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) are collaborating to deliver cloud services tailored to the needs of Canadian researchers.

Participating CSPs:

  • Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Arbutus Research Cloud
  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Microsoft Azure

Platform developers

Platform developers are collaborating on a unified platform for accessing cloud service providers (CSPs) along with services that can be deployed seamlessly in the cloud.
