Data Governance and Ethics Lead
Lucy holds a Master’s in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Amsterdam and has led clinical research projects at the intersection of surgery and translational physiology. Her expertise spans research ethics, publication ethics, and research integrity, and she has served in various editorial leadership roles at PLOS ONE and Canadian Science Publishing. In these positions, she developed and strengthened research integrity frameworks, guided ethics investigations, led cross-functional, multi-stakeholder initiatives, and facilitated training on responsible research conduct. She is particularly drawn to the systems and policies that uphold transparency, accountability, and ethical rigor across the research lifecycle.
