You are invited to join the Digital Research Alliance of Canada (the Alliance) for a virtual town hall focused on our continued work to support Canada’s sovereign AI compute strategy.
This will be a timely conversation for those interested in shaping the future of digital research and innovation in Canada.
In May, we submitted a Statement of Interest (SOI) to Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada as part of the $705 million AI Sovereign Compute Infrastructure Program (AI SCIP). While that submission marked an important milestone, our work is just beginning.
As Canada’s national digital research infrastructure (DRI) leader, the Alliance is committed to ensuring the AI SCIP meets the evolving needs of researchers and innovators across the country. During this town hall, we will gather input on our recommended approach and explore opportunities to shape the future of AI compute together.
