The Digital Research Alliance of Canada has launched a survey to better understand how Canadian researchers use research software and to inform the development of a National Research Software Strategy.

The Alliance is embarking on a process of co-creation with the broader Canadian research ecosystem to define its 2025-30 funding mandate. If you use, develop or support the use of research software, we want to hear from you. Findings from the survey will help us identify the priorities and gaps in research software service provision in order to better serve the research community.

The estimated time to complete this survey is 20-30 minutes. Responses will be aggregated and anonymized.

Please complete the survey here by Wednesday, June 7 at 11:59 p.m. PT.

Later this year, we will be sharing a draft of that research software strategy. There will be opportunities for community participation and feedback to further share priorities with the Alliance and its stakeholders.

We would be very grateful if you could share this survey within your networks.
