Fares joins the Alliance from the Université de Montréal, where he earned an M.Sc. in Quantitative & Computational Biology, specializing in data analysis for climate studies. Previously, he worked as a Research Assistant at the Northwest Regional Service Commission, applying remote sensing techniques to environmental challenges.
Fares has collaborated with organizations such as Environment and Climate Change Canada and Evidence for Democracy, refining his data management skills and contributing to various research projects. He also played a key role in fostering collaboration and engagement with stakeholders at both national and international levels within the Alliance.
As a Data Analyst, Fares brings expertise in data collection, analysis, and reporting to support data-driven decision-making. His work focuses on enhancing performance monitoring and developing comprehensive protocols to advance the organization's digital research infrastructure initiatives.
